Now. Okay. This post is going to go one of two ways. Either I will be struck with a chorus of “We already have this”/”Where the hell have you been?” or I am gonna blow some damn minds. I feel like I am always the last person to the table when it comes to discovering rare tracks, but maybe some other people missed the boat on this one, too.
So, hey, did you guys realize there are actually two entirely different sets of SSCW demos? There’s the one that I’ve had for a while, which I’ve occasionally posted tracks from, and then there’s a different one that’s really clear and good quality, which has some songs I have never heard of before in my life, and which includes a complete version of the song “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know.” With full lyrics. With John and Robby alternating lines. Did everyone on the planet know about this version of the song except for me?

The second version was sent to me by my new best friend Richard, who found it on a messageboard somewhere and is sending it to me bit by tantalizing bit. If you’ve heard all this stuff before, then the next couple weeks are going to be a snore for you, but if you, like me, were unaware that this stuff existed, I hope you are ready to party.
