Hi! I’m up to 523 spins of the new song, for anyone who was wondering. There’s some contention about one of the lines, which could be:
caught in the blindspot of fear and love
caught in the blindspot of here and now
caught in the blindspot of bein’ in love
etc.
I gotta tell you, after listening to it 523 times, it sounds to me like “caught in the blindspot of beer and love.” I know it can’t possibly be that, but that’s how I’ve been singing it, and since I’ve probably sang it more times than any of you have, and since Stephen Colbert says reality is whatever I say it is, I get to pick what the lyrics actually are, and I pick that they are “caught in the blindspot of beer and love.” Tell a friend.
