I complained last month about people who use the word “prolific” as a synonym for “good,” when the word actually means “producing a large quantity.” It rankles me, man. But do you know who knows how to use the word “prolific” correctly? John Rzeznik knows how to use the word “prolific” correctly.
“It’s always a learning process with Andy [Stochansky], because he’s kind of prolific,” Rzeznik said. “It’s like I’ll write 20 songs in a year, and he’ll write 100. I’m always astounded by people who can do that. He’s just so comfortable with going to the well and diving in.”
He is just plain awesome.
